I'm really happy with the actual vector art in this one. The edge fraying, not so much. Maybe I'll come back later and clean it up a little. But other than that, I'm happy with pretty much everything else. The colors, shapes, placements, texture, etc. Comments/fav's/etc are good stuff.

Enjoy.

I think it looks pretty great. Edge fraying looks better to me then anything Ive been able to pull of so far. That is of course if what you are referring to is the same thing I am :o

Nice texturing and colors too!

Thanks! And by fraying I mean the rough edges and "holes" in some of the the shapes.
:iconjugga-lizzle:
Yup, thats what I was meaning by it to. Care to share how you did yours?

Well, if it's a vector layer, I add a "reveal all" mask, select a brush, and do some minimal brushing around the edges. If it's a raster layer, usually I'll make a new layer and do some brushing that way. It's a little hard to explain.

For the brush itself, I usually go with the default brush with the kind of jagged edges, if you know which one I'm talking about. It's easy to work with and I don't have to give credit to all the people whose brushes I used in the deviation. :D

I dont think I know what one your talking about, but Im definitely going to be looking for it now. This is one style and technique Im determined to figure out. Right with ya there, Id rather make something 100% me, then have to worry about where my credits are going out to.

That is also because Im trying to sell my artwork as prints, and its alot easier not to have to ask for permission to use others resources. I faved this to credit as future inspiration though :w00t:

Well, I also looked at a few tutorials on how to get the whole vintage look.

And yes, credits are a hassle in every way. Plus, I feel a lot better about my work if I know it's 100% original. :D

And by the way, you said you fav'd this, but you're not on the list. Not that I'm trying to beg for fav's or anything, haha. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

I think I had left the page before it finished adding it to my favs. So thats why it didnt show up.

I hope you dont mind me asking questions BTW, Im just always trying to better my skills and knowledge of styles. :)
